This program provides for immediate and on going cost reduction through tracking, managing and streamlining surgical instrumentation, including set tray combinations. IN TRAQ® contains an expandable catalog of basic surgical/central sterile instrumentation that allows a hospital to know the value of these critical assets and deploy them in cost effective ways. IN TRAQ® allows for standardization of instrumentation, indicating where costs can be reduced. Individual instrumentation can be tracked by set/tray assignment. New set/tray combinations can be previewed to determine projected utilization. In addition, the program can also record instrument losses, repairs, destruction, and replacements, including the reason for replacement, yielding valuable asset management information. Loaned instruments can also be tracked, eliminating the need to buy costly new sets/trays. IN TRAQ® also includes the capacity to generate bid lists/RFQs for cost management of large instrument orders.
